Not sure what Tonkawa’s Jake Love has in store for the spring, but it’s going to be tough to equal what he’s already accomplished.Love earned an 11-3 victory in the 3A finals at 189 against Little Axe’s Dustin Hawkins to give Tonkawa its first state champion since 2001.
Love, a junior, was the star running back and linebacker for the Tonkawa club that earned the Class A state title in football.
